please God send snow. please

Remember how I said the only disappointing part of the honeymoon was the lack of snow? Well last night it snowed so now there is nothing to complain about. The first thing we did when we saw the snow was take pictures in it.
Our cottage is sweet. It is about 20 feet from the lake which makes for an incredible view in the morning. One of those views cut out of a magazine, where the water is motionless and the sun is creeping over the trees. Amazing.
Today has been a great day. Right now we are back in the coffee shop because it is the only place we know that has free wifi. We came into town today and walked down the strip of shops and stores but found nothing worthy enough to buy. Tonight we are going out to dinner then catching a flick at the movie theater. Not sure what movie though.

Today is our third full day of marriage, and it is better than the first and second. I can't imagine how awesome marriage is gonna be after a lifetime if it keeps getting better every day. What a gift. Time to go. I hope it snows more.

  1. Soooo thrilled for you two. And pumped you have a blog so we can share in your marital bliss. Marriage (God's way) is the most precious & joy producing gift I have experienced.

Aron & I look back at our honeymoon with such nostalgia...definately the best week of our life. Such sweet, innocent delight in one another, a time of celebrating your love and the beginning of the rest of your life. It sounds like you are having the same kind of week! We would wake up every morning practically giddy...we just couldn't believe we got to wake up in the same bed next to one another every morning...

delighted to follow you in your life & ministry. Satan will attack your marriage fiercely...he truly targets those who presume to lead in the kingdom. Jordan, you must be a warrior for Karen & your future family. Guard your relationship as the highest priority (second your personal relationship with Christ) in your life. Karen, fight for Jordan...there will be seasons he will need the strength only you offer.

And it is agreed, you definately need to meet our Judah. He is awesome! We'll be in Ohio for a whole week over Christmas, so hopefully then.
    I love you both,
    erica
